American Guitar Academy guitar and bass guitar lessons are private individual lessons designed to focus on the music you're most excited about playing while you gain all the skills and knowledge you'll need to play virtually any music in the future.

The AGA guitar and bass guitar learning systems are highly developed learning methods making use of over 20 years of research. These methods have helped thousands of people gain the skills, knowledge and confidence they wanted on the guitar and bass guitar. The AGA learning system is one of the few if not only guitar and bass methods with a United States patent pending.

What are the lessons like?

American Guitar Academy lessons are private and individual. This means a highly trained professional AGA instructor, or "guitar coach" as we call them, and you will be the only ones in the lessons. Parents may always choose to sit in. Lessons are once per week and approximately 30 minutes long.

Who can take lessons?

Anyone between the ages of 4 and 140. No experience necessary.

What if I don't have a guitar?

No problem. Come use our guitars for the first few lessons and when you're ready, our store locations can help you find a guitar that will work for you.

What if I don't think I have enough time?

American Guitar Academy lessons are designed to fit your life. We always focus on your specific goals and move at a pace that you set. One of the unique features of the AGA system is that it helps you develop your skill very quickly while you learn how the guitar works for your favorite music as well as all types of music.

What about the cost?

American Guitar Academy lessons are easily the best value for your money. Our prices are below the majority of private music lessons. When you factor in the speed with which results can happen with the AGA method, we believe you will end up paying far less for American Guitar Academy lessons than any where else you could go. Lessons are paid monthly.
