Lessons are prepaid either by the month in advance of each new month, or for a package of one, two or three years in advance of starting lessons. A credit or debit card is kept on file and lesson fees are paid as specified above.

You may reschedule up to two lessons during any month as long as you cancel the lesson through your online account using the online schedule with a 24 hour notice in advance of the missed lesson. For each missed lesson up to two per month that you cancel through your online account using the online schedule with a 24 hour notice, you will be issued a make up credit which you can use to reschedule the missed lesson. You will have 90 days from the date of the missed lesson to schedule a make up lesson, also through your online account using the online schedule, after which the make up credit will not be valid. Make up credits can not be used to pay for lessons in your regular schedule and can only be used to schedule additional make up lessons during days and/or times outside your regularly scheduled lessons. Your regular monthly lesson schedule and monthly tuition fees do not change due to missed lessons or having make up credits. No refunds are given for missed lessons. Any lesson that you do not cancel through your online account using the online schedule with a minimum notice of 24 hours will be charged as a regular lesson and no make up credit will be given. Canceling or rescheduling a lesson will not effect your monthly tuition payment amounts. All notices of missed lessons must be done through your online account using the online schedule. Our Coaches and staff members do not handle lesson rescheduling.

For any lesson that is cancelled by us, you will receive a reduced balance on your next monthly payment in the amount of one lesson. This includes any lesson that is cancelled by the Coach and any of the following holiday closures: Christmas Day, New Years Day, Thanksgiving Day and The 4th of July.

When enrolling for lessons, you will choose a lesson package. The package you choose specifies the minimum length of time you intend to take lessons and will determine the monthly rate you pay each month. After you have completed the amount of lessons in your initial lesson package, your time slot will continue to be held for you as long as you wish to continue with lessons and will be billed at the same rate as your initial lesson package unless you enrolled with a discounted rate in which case you will be billed at the one year package rate.

You may change your lesson package (which will change your monthly rate) at any time by emailing CustomerCare@AmericanGuitarAcademy.com or by calling us at 971-238-2580. Any changes to your lesson package will begin during the following month after you request the change and the length of time for the new package (ie: 1, 2 or 3 years) will begin that same month. Fore example, if you are enrolled with a 1 year lesson package and wish to change to the 3 year lesson package, the 3 years will begin the month that your monthly rate is changed.

If you wish to pause your lessons after your initial lesson package is completed or any time after that, you must provide us with a notice of at least 5 days before the end of your monthly billing cycle after your initial package is completed to insure you are not billed for the next month. Notices to pause/discontinue lessons must be made by emailing American Guitar Academy Music Lessons at CustomerCare@AmericanGuitarAcademy.com or by calling us at 971-238-2580. Notifying your Lesson Coach will not pause your lessons as our Lesson Coaches do not handle pausing lessons. If you do not notify us of your desire to pause your lessons as specified above, you will be charged for that next month.

Early termination of a lesson package will result in an additional charge of the amount equal to what you would have paid had you chosen the lesson package closest to the amount of time you took lessons. For example, if you enroll for a 3 year lesson package at $99 per month and you stop anytime before completing 2 years, we will treat this as if you had enrolled with the 1 year package at $119 per month, and you will be charged roughly* an additional $20 for each month you took lessons to make up for the difference in monthly cost per package. If in this example, you are enrolled with a 3 year package at $99 per month and complete 2 years but stop lessons before completing all 3 years, we will treat this as if you had enrolled for the 2 year package at $109 per month and you will be charged roughly* an additional $10 for each month you took lessons to make up for the difference in monthly cost per package. All notices of early termination of a lesson package must be made by emailing American Guitar Academy at CustomerCare@AmericanGuitarAcademy.com or by calling us at 971-238-2580. Notifying your Lesson Coach will not pause your lessons as our Lesson Coaches do not handle pausing lessons. Any unpaid balance on your account will be billed at the time of pausing/discontinuing your lessons.

*The additional fees are calculated using the per lesson pricing of each lesson plan and are estimated by the number of lessons you took lessons which may include a fifth lesson in some months.
